Get to know the Maalouf family -
Salut à tou.te.s,
Big event in the academic world this Summer. The Académie française has elected its new Perpetual Secretary, replacing Hélène Carrère d'Encausse who sadly passed away in August. The winner? The Franco-Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf, who has been one of the "Immortals" for over a decade. And who's he, you ask? This is exactly what we'll discover this week in the group. And if you don't have time to read a whole new book this week, or literature isn't your thing, you're in luck, turns out the nephew, Ibrahim, is a trumpeter, best known for the track "Beirut".
Join us in this week's sessions:

Bonne semaine et à bientôt,
Rafaël
